Since 1991, Dr. Aiken has been in private practice in Baltimore, Maryland and has been the Medical Director of Greene Tree Foot and Ankle Surgical Center for the past 7 years. He has a strong surgical background in his training with a special interest in reconstructive foot surgery, nerve injuries and entrapment syndromes of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Aiken places a very strong emphasis on patient education, as he feels that a patient that fully understands their condition and the reasons for recommended treatment is substantially more compliant than their counterparts. As a result, successful outcomes for these patients is notably higher.

Dr. Aiken lives in Oldsmar with his wife Karen, 3 children, Benjamin, Jenna, and Justin as well as an Afghan hound named Mancini. He thoroughly enjoys nature and the outdoors, hiking, bicycling, photography and family time.

Dr. Aiken previously was a clinical instructor at the University of Maryland Hospital in the Department of Orthopaedics and taught surgical techniques and clinical skills to many surgical residents over the years. He is currently on staff at Morton Plant Mease Hospital, Dunedin, Morton Plant Mease Hospital Countryside and The Countryside Ambulatory Surgical Center.
